Faucet FAQ
What materials are Create Good Sinks’ faucets made out of?
Our faucets are constructed of 304 stainless steel with a brushed finish and ceramic cartridges. They make for an identical match to that of our sinks.
Does Create Good Sinks carry replacement parts for faucets?
Yes, we have replacement parts for all of our faucet models, should anything ever need to be replaced.
How far back should I cut my faucet holes?
This depends on the stem-to-head distance of your faucet. If your faucet has good reach, say 9" or more, you can be more flexible on how far back the faucet placement is. For a shorter reaching faucet, you will want to try to push it up as close to the sink as your countertop professionals will allow.
How do I choose the right faucet?
We suggest that you first consider your relative kitchen design elements:
- Is the sink being installed in an island, corner, against a window or backsplash?
- A window, backsplash or corner installation may call for a faucet that is short, so as to not distract from other design elements.
- An island may allow for more liberties in choosing a taller faucet.
- Are there cabinets above the sink? If so, a shorter faucet may be a better decision.
- What size is your sink? Smaller prep sinks may look awkward with a taller faucet. A shorter faucet may be a better fit for a smaller sink.
- How many basins does your sink have? Single basin sinks may be better paired with a singular faucet, unless the sink is 39” or larger. Double basin sinks may look more design savvy with two faucets and could allow for multiple users to be at the sink at one time.
When should I install two kitchen faucets?
- Do you plan on using the sink solo or with multiple users? If your kitchen has a lot of flying elbows, you will want to make sure you have room for two people to work at the sink.
- Is your sink single or double bowl? Larger double-bowl sinks will be more efficient with dual faucets.
- We normally see people opt for double faucets with sinks measuring 39 inches and above
